Your Children Are Watching More Than You Think
"One heated argument can stay in a child's heart longer than you imagine."
Children may not understand every word you say, but they can feel tension, anger, and hurt.
When parents fight openly in front of their children, the home that should feel safe can suddenly feel scary.
Many adults today still remember painful arguments they witnessed between their parents years ago.
What to Do Instead:
β
Pause when emotions rise.
β
Agree on a private place to discuss issues.
β
Protect your children from adult conversations.
β
Remember that winning an argument is not as important as protecting your child's emotional health.
The Truth: π
Your child should never feel responsible for fixing problems between mummy and daddy.
Prayer:π₯
Lord, help us as parents to guard our words and actions.
Give us wisdom to resolve conflicts peacefully and create a safe, loving home for our children. Amen.ππ
