Do narcissists ever care?
Yes. there is one thing narcissists really really care about, The thing that all Narcissists cannot live without; its is something that also makes them happy and it is also the most important thing to a narcissist. Without it? they are nothing—and that thing is... CONTROL. narcissists really Care about having Control and they cannot LIVE without it..
What is CONTROL?
It is the Power to influence or direct people's behaviours or the course of events. the narcissist wants the power—to influence or direct the behaviour of the people around them and also what happens with them... This is also why that as much as narcissists hate people—they still need them, so that they can control them! Without control the narcissist feels helpless and insignificant..
they want control because they feel entitled to it. they think they are superior and that others exist to serve them. Its a way for them to display their superiority; They’ve realized that having control over their lives and others, is the only way they can get ahead and win at this game they call life... Its all about winning for the narcissist. Its all about conquering others. so the narcissist doesn’t just want to control you, they Need to Control you!!
Without control the narcissist just cannot perform.. They are like a fish out of water; So Narcissists control the people around them with lies and manipulation. They paint a false picture of themselves—to deceive others, The narcissist knows if they can control what you know—and think about them, then you will believe them confide in them and trust them. and we know that that is the aim of Covert narcissists! Their aim is to gain your trust—but in order to get your trust, they know they need to control how you view them and what you know about them... The more the narcissist knows about you, the more they feel they can control you
