MY FIRST LOVE (MUSIC) AND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE (MY WIFE) IN ONE BUILDING: THE MUSIC STUDIO 🎶 🎼 🎵

Some of the greatest moments I share with my wife happen when we’re writing a song or working on a music project together in the studio.

Those moments come with ups and downs, melodies and rhythms, arguments and drama. But at the end of the day, we always create something beautiful and divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Big shoutout to our producer, a.k.a Skiller Beat. You deserve your flowers for the love, dedication, attention to detail, and creativity you bring to our music projects. I don’t take it for granted. Normally, a lot of producers in the past have shown me premium shege (as in, they’ve tested the Holy Spirit in me, but Mercy said no 😃).

Maybe one day I’ll vent about my experiences with certain producers who exploited our meekness and passion for this craft over the years. I’m not even going to suppress my feelings about it, because some of my most hurtful moments in the past three years came from the deceit of collaborators I trusted to help push our music journey to the next level.

They see your passion and dedication, and the next minute, they’re scheming to take the little penny you have. The worst part is, after taking your money, they still won’t deliver because their heart was never in the craft they claimed to love. The signs were there though, and I take full responsibility for my dealings with them. My discernment was overshadowed by my love and passion for the craft.

I know some of them are reading this post right now. This is a reminder that you still owe me, my guy. I’ve forgiven, but I won’t forget sha🙄.
Nna, ogaha emezi ozo. NEVER❌

May our love for our passion or skills never overshadow our spirit of discernment, in Jesus’ name.🙏

Happy Sunday, and please remember to pray for the Church, especially the churches in Nigeria. Amen.

Last weekend was a memorable one!

My wife and I had deep, honest conversations with some amazing teens and young adults. They asked tough questions, and we had to dig deep to give answers that would guide them on their journey to adulthood.

It wasn’t easy but it was worth it. We laughed, reflected, and even had to become like them to communicate some hard truths. And of course, the highlight for many? Games & Refreshments! 😄 Shawarma, zobo, popcorn, Chivita—you name it!

Big thanks to the parents who trusted us with their kids, and to our sponsors and partners who made it all possible.

Let’s keep investing in the future.

C.S. Lewis once said: “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

Today, as the world celebrates the craft of photography, I want to share my journey.

I thank God for how far He has brought me in my media career. I’ve always had a deep passion for this craft. I remember how I used to sneak my father’s camera as a kid, playing with it without his knowledge. The day I got caught, I nearly vanished from the face of the earth, because of his military-minded discipline.😃

My first formal training in photography and videography was in 2014, during my time in school, under the mentorship of Yomi Stylus. After the training, I received my certificate and shifted focus back to my Computer Science studies. Upon graduating in 2017, I attempted an advanced training, but my NYSC posting outside Lagos disrupted the plan. I stepped away from the craft again.

In 2020, I was contracted by Proudly Asaba Media Group, where I worked as a media manager and supervisor, until 2021 before relocating back to Lagos. I tried to train and work with a few media companies, but things didn’t go as I had imagined.

Fast forward to May 2023, I met Divine. I shared my media journey with him, and he encouraged me not to give up. He shared his own story, and I finally began the advanced media training I had been avoiding all this while.

Today, we’re here. I want to thank him specially for giving me access to his more than 10 years of industry experience. I call him my friend, my brother, my boss, and my mentor. Thank you once again, sir, for helping me bridge the gap.

Now, I merge my Computer Science background and my passion for music with my media skills, to earn a living, mentor others, and train young creatives.

Happy World Photography Day to every photographer out there. And a special shoutout to everyone who has taught me one or two things in photography along the way. Your impact is part of my story, and I celebrate you today. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your time, and your lens with me.

Another Sunday to remind you:

There are some people that are not happy that you are alive. You didn’t do anything to them.
No need to worry about that.

Make sure you submit under the authority of Christ Jesus. Don’t sit on the fence, fam.

The fight is no longer about poverty. Open your eyes and see!!!

Stay on guard.
Stay with God…

See you in church ✌️

Did you downgrade your dream, your vision, your purpose, or your goals to fit the size of your pain? Your disappointment? Your grief? Your losses?

Because when people go through prolonged seasons of disappointment, they unconsciously slip into protective mode. You start believing it’s safer to guard your heart than risk being hurt again. But heartbreak doesn’t just wound, it blinds. A heart attack can steal our sight.

And so, we can find ourselves praying: “Lord, I no longer see with the clarity I once had. I desire to know what step to take next. I remember when I was filled with fervor and passion—alive with purpose, driven by a divine calling. But now, I am merely existing, moving forward without momentum or direction.”

And when it’s heartbreak that caused the blindness, only heart healing can bring vision back. It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read, how much information you’ve consumed, or what kind of strategy you’ve laid out on a vision board. Sometimes, we’re still blind—not because we lack knowledge, but because we’re unhealed.

But here’s the truth: the restoration of sight is tied to the healing of the heart. Whenever the enemy orchestrates heartbreaks, it’s never about that moment, it’s always about the future, it’s always about the damage he wants to do in that moment, that he wants us to carry into the future so that we live life blind.

But this morning, I hold steadfast faith in a God that offers healing unlike any other—a restoration not found through human means, but through divine intervention. May He touch your heart and heal its wounds. May He bestow upon you the strength, grace, and fortitude required to overcome heartbreak and emerge stronger and wiser.

May peace be yours. God bless you Fam❤️. Amen.

When envy, jealousy, bitterness, or quiet malice moves you to dim your brother’s light, you don’t just hinder his rise — you forfeit the honor of standing beside a king.

Because when God chooses someone for greatness, no opposition can erase that calling. You may try to delay his crown, but you cannot unwrite what Heaven has declared.

In trying to block his path, you cast your own soul into darkness. Not because the sun stopped shining, but because you closed your eyes to its glory.

The truth is, you cannot stop the sun. You cannot cage divine purpose. You can only blind yourself and miss the blessing meant for you.

So honor what God has placed in another. Lift up, don’t tear down because what you celebrate in others, God may one day multiply in you.

Some of us are like open books that never get read. We carry wisdom, experiences, and stories that could change lives but we keep them closed, hidden on dusty shelves.

And so, the people we’re meant to help? They are still searching. They are flipping through pages of the wrong books (books that were never written for them) because the one book they truly need hasn’t been opened yet.

That book is YOU.

You were created with a purpose. You have something inside you that someone else desperately needs. But unless you’re willing to be vulnerable, to share your life, your lessons, and your light, they may never find their way.

Today, I challenge you:
Open your book. Speak your truth. Walk in your purpose. The people God destined you to uplift are waiting and their breakthrough might be hidden in your untold story.

Because this isn’t about a book.

It’s about your life! It’s about your purpose!! It’s about your destiny!!!

Welcome to the second half of the year and Happy New Month Fam🫶

“Whoever has your ear has your future.”

I am who I am today because these men have had my ear—and have poured wisdom, love, and unwavering mentorship into me every step of the way.

Happy Father’s Day to these great men of valour whom God has used to shape my journey. My passage from boyhood to manhood has been transformed by your influence.

Thank you for lending me your ears, your heart, and your wisdom.

From your teachings to your prophecies, your mentorship to your love—you have each played a priceless role in shaping the man I am becoming.

I celebrate you today and always.

With deepest love and gratitude.❤️🙌

As we prepare to lift our holy hands in worship tomorrow, I want to pose a few questions for honest reflection:

Do you truly love God or do you just love going to church?

Do you love God’s people or just the comfort of church walls?

Is church your place of escape or your place of control?

Is it the one space you feel seen?

Is it your business ground… or your social hub?

These aren’t accusations, they’re invitations to examine our hearts.

Let this be your gentle reminder:

God weighs our motives more than our actions. Make sure your priorities are in order. Be honest. Be real.

A generation is rising!!!

See you in church tomorrow❤️
