Did you downgrade your dream, your vision, your purpose, or your goals to fit the size of your pain? Your disappointment? Your grief? Your losses?
Because when people go through prolonged seasons of disappointment, they unconsciously slip into protective mode. You start believing it’s safer to guard your heart than risk being hurt again. But heartbreak doesn’t just wound, it blinds. A heart attack can steal our sight.
And so, we can find ourselves praying: “Lord, I no longer see with the clarity I once had. I desire to know what step to take next. I remember when I was filled with fervor and passion—alive with purpose, driven by a divine calling. But now, I am merely existing, moving forward without momentum or direction.”
And when it’s heartbreak that caused the blindness, only heart healing can bring vision back. It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read, how much information you’ve consumed, or what kind of strategy you’ve laid out on a vision board. Sometimes, we’re still blind—not because we lack knowledge, but because we’re unhealed.
But here’s the truth: the restoration of sight is tied to the healing of the heart. Whenever the enemy orchestrates heartbreaks, it’s never about that moment, it’s always about the future, it’s always about the damage he wants to do in that moment, that he wants us to carry into the future so that we live life blind.
But this morning, I hold steadfast faith in a God that offers healing unlike any other—a restoration not found through human means, but through divine intervention. May He touch your heart and heal its wounds. May He bestow upon you the strength, grace, and fortitude required to overcome heartbreak and emerge stronger and wiser.
May peace be yours. God bless you Fam❤️. Amen.
