“THE HOUSE OF THREE WINDS”
Episode 1: The Day Everything Changed
The Okafor family had always been loud, loving, and a little chaotic. Their home—an old, yellow-painted duplex everyone called The House of Three Winds—was always filled with laughter, arguments, and the smell of Mama Nkem’s pepper soup drifting through every corner.
But on a quiet Tuesday morning, something unusual happened.
For the first time in years, the house was silent.
Papa Chike stood in the sitting room holding a folded letter. His hands shook. His eyes looked like he had seen both trouble and a miracle at the same time. The children—Ada, Ifeanyi, and little Somto—watched him from the doorway, confused.
“Your lives,” he said slowly, “are about to change.”
He dropped the letter on the table.
They had inherited a large piece of land from a distant uncle they barely remembered. But with that blessing came a warning:
“You must all return to the village for the reading of the will.”
And so the journey of secrets, love, quarrels, healing, and destiny began.
The family didn’t know it yet, but this inheritance would drag out old wounds, reveal hidden truths, bring unexpected miracles, and test how strong a family could really be.
