The Grand Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland (RABITAH), Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, JP, hosted the League of Imams and Alfas, Oyo State Chapter, at the Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja’ba, this morning.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening the relationship and cooperation among the League of Imams and Alfas across Oyo State, promoting peace, unity, and mutual understanding, as well as discussing preparations for the forthcoming National Conference of the League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland (RABITAH), scheduled to hold in November 2026, which will be hosted by the Oyo State Chapter.

The meeting was also attended by numerous Imams and Alfas from across Oyo State, as well as members of the Council of Mogajis of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland.
The gathering reaffirmed the commitment of the League to fostering unity, peace, cooperation, and the advancement of Islamic affairs across Oyo State and Yorubaland.
May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen our Imams and Alfas, unite the Muslim Ummah, and grant success to the forthcoming National Conference.
