Perfection of character is a noble pursuit that many strive to achieve. It is the embodiment of virtues such as integrity, compassion, humility, and kindness, and it is the practice of living each day with a sense of purpose and authenticity. To live each day as if it were your last, without frenzy, without apathy, and without pretense, is a powerful approach to achieving perfection of character.

Living each day as if it were your last requires a sense of mindfulness and presence. It means appreciating the little moments and savoring the beauty of everyday life. It means not getting caught up in the frenzy of busyness and distractions, but instead, taking the time to truly connect with the people and experiences that matter most. It means being fully engaged in each moment, cherishing the present, and cultivating a sense of gratitude for the simple joys that surround us.

Living without apathy means caring deeply about the world around us and the impact we have on others. It means having empathy for those who are suffering and taking action to alleviate their pain. It means being passionate about the things that matter and using our talents and abilities to make a positive difference in the world. Living without apathy means approaching life with a sense of purpose and meaning, and striving to leave a legacy of love and kindness in our wake.

Living without pretense means being authentic and genuine in all of our interactions. It means being true to ourselves and embracing our unique strengths and flaws. It means showing up as our true selves, without the need to impress or conform to others' expectations. Living without pretense means being transparent and honest, and building relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

Letting love lead is the cornerstone of living each day with purpose and authenticity. Love is the driving force behind our actions and the foundation of all virtues. When we let love lead, we approach each day with a sense of compassion, kindness, and understanding. We treat others with respect and empathy, and we seek to build connections that are rooted in love and mutual respect.

In conclusion, the pursuit of perfection of character is a noble and worthy goal. Living each day as if it were your last, without frenzy, without apathy, and without pretense, is a powerful approach to achieving this goal. By letting love lead and approaching each day with mindfulness, empathy, and authenticity, we can cultivate a life rich in meaning, purpose, and joy.

Happy Valentine's Day! Let us celebrate love in all its forms and strive to live each day with love, authenticity, and purpose.

FREEDOM!
By David C. Obison

Words that set us free,
That breaks the chains of tyranny,
That light the fires of justice,
And bring hope to humanity.

Words that ignite the passion within,
That inspires us to stand up and speak out,
To fight for our rights and our dignity,
And to never back down.

Words that remind us of our worth,
That we are all equal and deserving,
That we deserve to live with freedom,
And to pursue our dreams without hindrance.

Words that transcend borders and hate,
That brings us together as one,
And remind us that we are all connected,
And that our freedom is intertwined.

Let us never forget the power of our words,
And the impact they can have,
For they are the tools of our liberation,
And the keys to our freedom.

A blissful day, so bright and clear A symphony of nature, so sweet to hear The sun gleaming down, a warm embrace A gentle breeze upon my face

The world awakens to a fresh new start A symphony of colors, a work of art The trees sway gently, green and tall The flowers rise up, proud and all

Birds chirp a song, a melodious tune Butterflies flutter, a dance in the dune The river flows, a crystal clear sight Reflecting the sun, a blinding light

On this blissful day, my heart leaps Grateful for life, carefree it steeps In the beauty of the world it sees A moment to cherish, a memory to seize.
Enjoy a blissful day.

"According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)
3) Social Quotient (SQ)
4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your level of comprehension. You need IQ to solve maths, memorize things, and recall lessons.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others, keep to time, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, be humble, genuine and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ): this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go further in life than those with a high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize on improving IQ levels while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your Character, while your SQ represents your Charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs, especially your EQ and SQ.

Now there is a 4th one, a new paradigm:

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ): The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life, and come out of it without losing your mind.

When faced with troubles, AQ determines who will give up, who will abandon their family, and who will consider su***de.

Parents please expose your children to other areas of life than just Academics. They should adore manual labour (never use work as a form of punishment), Sports and Arts.

Develop their IQ, as well as their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become multifaceted human beings able to do things independently of their parents.

Finally, do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road."
