Some of us walk into conversations already armed, already justified and already set in stone.
Walls up, windows shut.
And when truth comes knocking, we don’t hear it as love, we hear it as an attack. Not because of what was said or how it was said, but because our hearts were locked.
Walls protect, but they also suffocate. Windows expose, but they also let in light and air.
Faith reminds us: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.” (Hebrews 3:15)
Because sometimes, the war isn’t between you and the person speaking; it’s between your pride and your growth.
Brands face this too. When you build walls, you stop listening to your audience. When you open windows, you allow feedback, correction, and even rebuke to shape you into something greater.
Tell me: Where have you built walls when you should have opened windows?
The next War Room post is coming. Stay prepared!
