Grandville is widely known for its team of experienced medical professionals, offering both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. This unexpected news has left many in shock, with questions surrounding the circumstances of her passing.

💔 TRAGEDY IN ABUJA: The Sad Story of Grace Godwin (Ilewa)

On Friday, July 11th, 2025, a young woman’s life was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Grace Godwin, popularly known as Ilewa, was just 23 years old when she fell victim to the notorious “one-chance” criminals operating in the Jabi area of Abuja, Nigeria.

Grace, originally from Agatu LGA in Benue State, worked diligently as a fuel attendant in Abuja. Sadly, on her way home from work that day, she unknowingly boarded a vehicle operated by kidnappers.

According to reports, the assailants robbed her and demanded a ₦1 million ransom from her family. It remains unclear whether any part of the ransom was paid or still in negotiation.

Tragically, Grace was killed, and her body was dumped by the roadside in Jabi. Passersby discovered her lifeless body early the next morning, around 6:00am. Though the police rushed her to the hospital, it was already too late.

In the wake of this heartbreaking event, some social media users tried to twist the narrative—spreading false claims that she was involved in a hookup and used for rituals. But her family and close friends have come forward to strongly refute this. Grace was a hardworking young woman who had simply closed from work and was trying to get home.
