🔥10 things you must give up if you want to move forward in life
1⃣Not appreciating the present moment: Too often in life, we try to achieve something big without realizing that the greatest part of life is made up of little things. Read this again.
2⃣Your need to be right ALWAYS: Aim for success but never give up on your right to be wrong because when you do, pride will creep in and you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life.
3⃣Running from problems or challenges that should be fixed once and for all: Stop running! Face whatever it is that is facing you head-on. Look at it in the face and challenge it.
Fix it.
Appreciate, communicate and love the people in your life that deserves it.
4⃣Allowing the opinions of others control your life: It's what you think about your life that counts, not what others think. You HAVE to do what's best for your life and you, not what's best for anyone or everyone else.
5⃣Overlooking the positive things in your life and around you: Do you know that what you see often depends entirely on what you're looking for. Yes, you read that right.
You will have a hard time being happy if you aren't grateful for the things you have right now.
6⃣The shame of past failures: All that matters is what you do right now. Your past doesn't equal your future. Always remind yourself that.
7⃣Choosing to do nothing: Everyday is a new chance to choose what you'll become. Make up your mind. Choose how you're going to live your life and right now too.
8⃣Procastrinating on what matters to you: The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now. There are two primary choices in life; accepting conditions as they exist or accepting the responsibility to change them. Which one do you choose?
9⃣Being indecisive about what you want: Make a decision to figure out that which you want and pursue it passionately. You will never leave where you are UNTIL you decide where you'd rather be.
🔟Making excuses rather than decisions: Most long term failures are the outcome of people making excuses instead of decisions. Always have the mindset of "I will" not "I want to."
