How to Stop Babysitting Trades"
1. Trust Your Plan
• Before you enter, you should already know:
o Entry
o Stop loss
o Target
• Once the trade is set, your job is done. Constantly watching won’t change the outcome — it only increases the chance you’ll interfere.

2. Use Alerts Instead of Screens
• Set alerts for when:
o Price hits your stop loss
o Price hits your target
o Or if you want, when price reaches certain levels you’re watching
• That way, you don’t need to sit staring at the chart.

3. Limit Screen Time
• After entering, close the platform/app.
• Only check on the candle close (since your edge is on the 4H timeframe).
• Remember: the 1-min and 5-min moves are just noise to you.

4. Shift Focus to Other Tasks
• Fill the waiting time with productive habits: journaling, reading, exercising, back testing.
• If you stay idle, your brain will naturally drift back to “let me just check the trade…”

5. Reframe Watching
• Think of watching a trade like opening the oven every 2 minutes while baking — it ruins the process.
• Your trade is the cake; give it time to bake properly.

Every time you feel the urge to watch a running trade, ask yourself:
“Am I watching because it’s useful, or because I’m emotional?”
If the answer is emotional → step away.
