Ogoni Youths Praise Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited for Outstanding Impact in Eastern Corridor, Urge Federal Expansion
The Ogoni Oil & Gas Host Communities Youths Forum (OOGHCYF) commends Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) for its steadfast commitment to excellence in job delivery, active stakeholder engagement, youth and women empowerment, and fostering strong relations with host communities.
In a statement released in Portharcourt today by Comrade Teddy Gianen, President of OOGHCYF, the forum highlighted the significant impact of PINL’s operations in the Eastern Corridor. “Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited has demonstrated exemplary leadership by creating meaningful employment opportunities for our youths, safeguarding vital oil and gas infrastructure as well as critical national assets, advancing women’s empowerment initiatives, and ensuring timely payment of stipends to stakeholders,” Gianen remarked.
As the community prepares for the final monthly stakeholders' engagement meeting of 2025, Comrade Gianen expressed optimism for the future: “We look forward to even greater achievements from PINL in the coming year. Furthermore, we call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to expand PINL’s operations beyond the Eastern Corridor to enhance security and development across a broader region.”
OOGHCYF remains committed to collaborating with PINL and the government to foster sustainable growth, security, and empowerment within Ogoni and the Niger Delta host communities.
