I Am Ogoni
I am Sudornaka
Daughter of the sacred soil,
Where rivers hum with history
And the winds whisper names of old.
I come from Ogoni,
A land carved by the hands of the divine
Rich in earth, in spirit, in story,
Crowned with treasures both seen and unseen.
From Gwara town I was birthed and groomed,
Fed with wisdom, bathed in truth,
Rooted deep in ancestral pride,
Where every drumbeat tells of where I come from.
I know the footsteps of my forefathers,
I walk in the echoes of their courage.
Their legacy lives in my breath,
Their dreams burn in my chest.
I love the melody of our mother tongue
Soft, bold, beautiful.
I dance to the rhythm of the earth’s heartbeat,
As our bodies speak the language of joy.
I am Ogoni
Not just by birth,
But by blood, by soul, by destiny.
And I carry my name like a banner,
SUDORNAKA
A proud daughter of Khana,
A living song of her people.
