“I have been married for 7 years and I have not been able to give birth.

My husband still says he loves me and wants me in his life, but his family has made my life difficult. My mother-in-law reminds me almost every day that I have not given her a grandchild. My sisters-in-law barely speak to me unless they want to mock me.

Sometimes I go to the market, buy food, come home, cook for everyone, and pretend everything is okay. But deep down, I cry.

I have prayed, fasted, visited hospitals, and done everything within my power. Yet the insults continue.

Recently, my husband told me to ignore them and focus on our marriage. But I am tired. I feel unwanted and rejected in the very home I call my own.

Should I continue enduring this because of my husband, or should I leave the marriage and find peace elsewhere?”
