Many are asking, why should Israel, North Korea, and China be allowed to possess nuclear weapons while Iran is not? Is it not imperative that nations prioritize global peace and stability by ensuring that nuclear capabilities are not exploited for destructive purposes? Can we envision a world where nations like Ghana, South Africa, or Australia, renowned for their commitment to diplomacy and cooperation, serve as exemplary models for responsible nuclear stewardship? Shouldn't nations that have suffered immense hardship, such as Israel, be commended for their resilience and dedication to protecting their existence? Isn't it crucial that the international community remains vigilant in preventing nations with a history of harboring terrorists or extremist ideologies from acquiring nuclear weapons, thereby safeguarding humanity's collective well-being? And if one believes Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons would be inconsequential, perhaps a moment of introspection is warranted to reassess the potential repercussions.
