P-SQUARE PART 2: WHEN FAMILY BECAME THE BATTLEFIELD đ
PART 1 ended with one painful question:
đ How did two brothers who conquered Africa together end up fighting over music, money and family matters?
Now let's go deeper.
Because according to Peter Okoye, this story is not simply about two musicians who decided to go their separate ways.
There is much more behind it.
Peter's recent videos have brought old wounds back into the public conversation.
At the centre of his allegations is the issue of money and royalties from P-Square's music.
Peter has questioned how some of the group's earnings were handled and has alleged that he was not properly included in certain royalty arrangements.
For an artist whose voice, performances and creative work helped generate those songs, that kind of situation would understandably raise serious questions.
Imagine spending years recording songs.
Travelling around the world.
Performing in stadiums.
Creating music that generates money years after its release.
Then discovering that you may not have had the level of financial control or information you believed you had.
How would you feel?

Jude Okoye has rejected the allegations.

It's the years that can never be recovered.
And while fans continue asking who is right and who is wrong, perhaps there is another question we should be asking:
Was all that money worth losing the peace of a family?
We may never know the full truth until every relevant document and legal issue is properly resolved.
Peter has his story.
Jude has his response.
Paul has his own experience of the years they spent together.
And somewhere between all three stories may lie the complete picture.

Ironically, the people who created that music are now struggling with the very thing their music once represented:
TOGETHERNESS.
Maybe one day the brothers will sit down privately.

No social media.

No accusations.
Just three brothers.
And perhaps they will finally ask themselves:
"Where did we lose each other?"
Because at the end of the day, money can be recovered.
Businesses can be rebuilt.
Songs can be reproduced.
But time with family cannot be bought back.
