“For I know the plans I have for you, saith the Lord… plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Sometimes, life can make a person doubt everything.
You prayed… but nothing changed.
You trusted people… but they disappointed you.
You worked hard… but results are still far away.
And slowly, fear starts whispering to your heart:
“What if things never get better?”
But look at what God said.
He did not say, “I used to have plans for you.”
He said, “I KNOW the plans I have for you.”
That means before your tears started, God already knew.
Before people walked away from you, God already knew.
Before that delay, disappointment, heartbreak, or struggle came into your life, God already saw tomorrow.
And if God is saying His plans for you are good, then don’t allow your present situation to speak louder than God’s promise.
Because many times, what looks like the end is only a painful chapter, not the full story.
Some of us are alive today because God refused to give up on us when life became heavy.
So please, don’t lose hope because things are slow right now.
A seed also stays buried before it grows.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep moving forward.
One day, you will look back and realize that God was still leading you even in the confusing moments.
May God strengthen every discouraged heart tonight, wipe away silent tears, and remind you that your future is still in His hands. Amen.
