I survived the delivery room the third time 🙏🥰........
2 soldiers at a goal. 👨❤️👨 I pray for one he gave me double boys 👦 🙌🙌
The day I found out I was pregnant, i honestly thought the test was lying. I held it, turned it upside down, shook it like a remote control, you know, just to be sure the lines weren’t misbehaving. But alas, it was confirmed.
Your sister was baking a bun in the oven.
I screamed. Then I cried. Then I laughed. Then I called my husband, and he thought I was joking. Even I thought I was joking until the cravings started. One minute, I wanted hot amala, the next minute, I wanted ice cream on fried yam. Pregnancy is not for the weak, my people.
Then came the day of the scan. I laid down, gel on my belly, and the nurse just casually said, “You’re having twins.”
I said, “Come again? Twin what? Twin SIM or twin babies?” She smiled and said, “Double blessings.”
I started laughing, then crying, then laughing again. I asked her to check. Well, maybe one of them was just hiding behind the other for fun.
From that day, everything became times two. I started rubbing my belly like I was signing an agreement. I downloaded baby name apps and started pairing names.
I imagined their first photoshoot in matching outfits, and how I would hold one in each arm like a boss mama.
I could already see myself doing vlogs like “A Day in the Life of a Twin Mom” while one baby was chewing my hair and the other one was laughing at my struggles.
I saw myself pushing a double stroller through the market like a queen. I was ready emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually. I even started practising how to say "STOP THAT” in harmony.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
