Now I am looking at my husband and wondering… should I be worried?

Because if his face starts becoming mine, I am fine.

In my home parenting is not mother’s job.

Parenting is suppose to be a shared responsibility.

We both feed the children, correct them when necessary , comfort them,

Clean up after them, and lose sleep even when they are sick.

In my home there is nothing like that is a woman’s job or that is a man’s job.

We are their parents, and we both show up for our kids at all times.

Because honestly, raising children is too important for one person to carry alone.

I remember hearing someone say that children should have enough space between them,

Because of respect and the relationship they will have growing up.

It honestly made me think.

Some mothers want their children close together so they can grow up together and become best friends.

Others prefer to wait a few years,

So the older child is more independent before another baby comes.

There is really no perfect answer because every family is different.

But let us be honest,parents if you could choose,

How many years would you want between your children? ❤️

There are some days, I can just stand in the kitchen, open the fridge,

Look at everything inside, and still say, “There is nothing to cook.”

Meanwhile, there is foodstuff, and my children need to eat, and my husband is asking,

“What are we eating?”

And the funny part is, when you finally cook something,

My son starts acting like he doesn’t want this one.” 😩

Motherhood can really test your patience.
