Was skeptical about posting everything because it’s over 3 mins long but it’s worth it.

Had a random idea last night to share people’s gym stories and not just mine, and I’m grateful to Gabriel, Seyi, Dubby, and Igein for saying yes to my first trial at doing that.

Whose response shocked or inspired you the most, and should I do a part 2 of sharing people’s gym stories?

When I came across this content from The School Of Hard Knocks this is the part that stayed with me because it’s something I’ve consciously learned to do.

Serving people and communities is an underrated hack to building your network, skills and knowledge we do not talk about often, which is why I’ve decided to start talking about it.

You can always start in your church or a community or someone in close proximity with you.

And just like Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji said in the video “Serve and give people and one day it would be given back to you”.

Started volunteering as an escape for my broken heart 7 years ago, but somewhere in between it changed the course of my life.

Today, I can boldly say one of my core values is “SERVICE”.

Volunteering and service has opened so many doors for me, my career and so much more.

Forever grateful for Chibunna Ogbonna for encouraging me to take my first volunteer opportunity and even my second.

For Beauty Martins who founded the 360VOLUNTEER NETWORK where I served for over 3 years and gained the confidence to serve more.

For Temilade Salami | Sustainable Fashion & Climate Education The Grow Tribe for the gift of Launchpad, where the idea of putting all my knowledge and experience of volunteering into an ebook was birthed.

For everyone who I shared this idea with who never downplayed it but encouraged me to do it, this has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done yet in my 20s.

Most of all I’m grateful to God for the wisdom to do this, and grateful for the gift of Jerry Eze . Had no idea earlier on when to launch this, so I chose today because of you!
Happy birthday PJ, and thank you for all you do for us.
