The Shortcut Trap đźš«
A few years ago, I watched a friend pour all his savings into forex trading.
He was convinced it was the “smart” way to escape the 9–5 grind.
He bought an online course, joined a signal group, and started speaking the language of “pips” and “candles.”
For the first few weeks, it looked promising — profits here, wins there.
Then, one bad trade wiped out everything. He borrowed more to “recover,” and lost that too.
He’s not alone.
Every day, young people chase after the next “shortcut” — crypto, Ponzi schemes, fake mentorship programs — all promising wealth without process.
The truth?
There are no shortcuts to lasting success.
Every real story of wealth you admire took time, patience, and discipline.
But we don’t like to hear that. We want quick money, not steady growth.
Yet, shortcuts often lead to longer delays.
You lose money, confidence, and sometimes even the hunger to start again.
If you must chase something, chase skills that can’t be taken away.
Chase consistency, not hype.
Because in the end, process will always beat shortcuts. đź’ˇ
