Something happened one day, a man came to harass my mom at our house my dad was home that morning. He entered the passage immediately he saw my mom he started calling her names and insulting her which drew attention from neighbors and my dad who was inside came out too. He just stood looking at the man then to my mom without doing anything which i was expecting him to do something like throw the man out of our house or even fight him off if necessary but all I got was silence and cold stares towards my mother and I was so disappointed.
As the first child and daughter of the family I hate conflict or commotions like such and confronting or insulting elderly people is not my thing at all I wasn't brought up that way but out of anger from the humiliation, insults, names calling from this man and worst of all my father's reaction towards the whole thing something burst inside me, I didn't know when I carried pistol and chased him out of our compound till today am still surprised of what happened that day.
