Six Premier League managers have been nominated for the November 2025 Barclays Manager of the Month award, and you can help to decide who wins.

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)

P4 W2 D2 L0 GD+5

Arteta's side enjoyed an unbeaten month as they continued their relentless pursuit of a first Premier League title since 2004, finishing with two wins and two draws from four matches. The Gunners began November with back-to-back away matches at Burnley and Sunderland, winning 2-0 at Turf Moor and then drawing 2-2 at the Stadium of Light. Successive London derbies followed, first a dominant 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, before Arsenal fought back to draw 1-1 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Unai Emery (Aston Villa)

P4 W3 D0 L1 GD+4

Villa bounced back from a disappointing start to the month to enjoy three impressive wins in a row. Emery's men lost 2-0 at champions Liverpool but responded with a 4-0 win at home to AFC Bournemouth. A 2-1 comeback win at Leeds United and a hard-fought 1-0 success over Wolverhampton Wanderers ensured Villa ended November in the top four.

Pep Guardiola (Man City)

P4 W3 D0 L1 GD+5

Guardiola's Man City were the league's entertainers, scoring a league-high 10 goals in November. Among their three wins was an impressive defeat of Liverpool and a dramatic 3-2 stoppage-time victory over Leeds.

Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton)

P4 W3 D1 L0 GD+6

Another side to enjoy an unbeaten November, Hurzeler's side oversaw three wins from four matches with only one goal conceded. Victories over Leeds and Brentford sandwiched a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, before the Seagulls wrapped the month up with a 2-0 success at Nottingham Forest.

Sánchez: Cucurella has Yamal in his pocket; we are the UCL favorites, not Barça. It definitely wasn't a magical Champions League night for Lamine Yamal - that much is certain. Chelsea, and especially Marc Cucurella, managed to completely neutralize the player many believe is destined to be the future of football, while also helping secure a resounding 3-0 victory over FC Barcelona.
The Spanish full-back was named Player of the Match - and it was thoroughly deserved. Afterward, his teammate Robert Sánchez dropped a brutal one-liner aimed squarely at the young Barça star.

The Chelsea goalkeeper kept a clean sheet and, when speaking to reporters in the mixed zone, was asked about the individual battle between Cucurella and Yamal. His response was short and devastating: "Cucurella has him in his pocket."
He then fired a second shot that could haunt plenty of careers, commenting on the level of the Premier League: "Everyone looks really good until they come to the Premier League."

It's worth remembering that this was Lamine Yamal's very first match against an English club - and it didn't go well at all.

Finally, when asked whether Barcelona should still be considered favorites in the Champions League, Sánchez replied with a wide grin: "Favorites? Barcelona? No - we're the favorites."

Chelsea currently sit fifth in the competition (pending the rest of the matchday), while FC Barcelona are down in 15th place, looking very poorly positioned in this year's Champions League.

Olympiakos 3-4 Real Madrid: Mbappe scores FOUR but Madrid only scrape through
Kylian Mbappe scored four goals as Real Madrid edged out Olympiacos in a Champions League thriller.
The Greek hosts took an early surprise lead through Francisco Chiquinho's 20-yard strike.

But Mbappe stepped up for the visitors and struck three times in the space of seven minutes.

The Frenchman first ran on to Vinicius Jr's wonderful pass behind the defence to finish calmly - and then headed in Arda Guler's cross.

Mbappe looked unstoppable as he then beat the offside trap to net his hat-trick from Eduardo Camavinga's pass.

He then found Vinicius, who found the net, but his effort was ruled out for an offside against the French forward.

Aurelien Tchouameni hit the bar as Real - without five defenders and their first-choice goalkeeper through injury and illness - continued to dominate.

But a bullet header from substitute Mehdi Taremi got Olympiacos back into the game.

Mbappe bagged his fourth with a close-range poked effort from Vinicius' pass.

But Ayoub el Kaabi's header again gave Olympiacos late hope.

It ended a three-game winless run for Real in all competitions and marked their first competitive win in Athens in their 10th visit.

Arsenal 3-1 Bayern: Timber, Madueke & Martinelli seal deserved win for Gunners.
Noni Madueke scored his first goal for Arsenal as the Gunners put three past Bayern Munich to maintain their 100% record in the Champions League.
Arsenal were dominant from the beginning of the game and took the lead in the 22nd minute when Jurrien Timber headed in Bukayo Saka's corner - the 10th goal that Arsenal have scored from a corner this season, the most of any side in Europe's top five leagues.

Bayern grew into the match after going behind and equalised 10 minutes later when Joshua Kimmich hit a crossfield pass to Serge Gnabry and the former Arsenal forward played the ball across the area for 17-year-old Lennart Karl to score from close range.

It was the first goal that Arsenal had conceded in the competition this season but it did not stop them making it five wins from five.

England winger Madueke put the Gunners in front when substitute Riccardo Calafiori fired a powerful cross into the area for him to help into the net.

The Gunners then wrapped up the win when Sunday's north London derby hero Eberechi Eze clipped a pass over the defence and Gabriel Martinelli knocked the ball around goalkeeper Manuel Neuer - who was in no man's land - to hand Bayern Munich their first defeat of the season.

Slot 'feels trust from Liverpool' but uncertain about his future there. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool coach Arne Slot feels the trust from Liverpool but is still uncertain about his future at the Reds after PSV defeat.
We do have the normal conversations and I feel the trust. I haven’t spoken to them after this game yet, so let’s see!”.

Liverpool 1-4 PSV: Reds are thrashed at home as Driouech scores double. Liverpool's torrid run continued as they suffered a miserable home defeat by PSV in the Champions League.

PSV beat Liverpool on the final day of the league phase last season, but by that stage, the Reds had already wrapped up top spot in the table.

Yet this time around, just as they do in the Premier League, Liverpool sit 12th after another wounding home defeat.

Wednesday's contest started badly for Arne Slot's beleaguered team, who have now lost three straight games, conceding three goals in each of those defeats, when Virgil van Dijk inexplicably handled from a corner, paving the way for Ivan Perisic to put PSV ahead from the penalty spot six minutes in.

Dominik Szoboszlai restored parity 10 minutes later when he slotted into a gaping net on the rebound from a saved Cody Gakpo attempt, bringing up Liverpool's 500th European Cup/Champions League goal in the process.

Van Dijk hit the crossbar as Liverpool probed for a second, yet the tide swung back in PSV's favour in the second half.

Mauro Junior strode in unchallenged from the left wing and supplied a neat cross from which Guus Til prodded in his first Champions League goal in the 56th minute.

PSV's advantage was doubled 17 minutes later as the visitors capitalised on more shambolic defending, with Ibrahima Konate caught out. Ricardo Pepi struck the post, but Couhaib Driouech was on hand to tuck home.

And a famous PSV victory was capped off in second-half stoppage time as Driouech drilled home from Sergino Dest's cutback, with a chorus of jeers greeting Slot and his team at full-time.

Terry: Only Chelsea can challenge Arsenal in EPL title race this season.Chelsea legend John Terry believes that only one side can challenge Arsenal in the race to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners moved six points clear at the top of the table after a thumping 4-1 win over arch-rvials Tottenham at the Emirates on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have finished as runners-up in the past seasons, but now look in a commanding position to finally get over the line and end their long-running league drought.

Defending champions Liverpool look a long way off he pace, with an alarming 3-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest meaning Arne Slot’s side have now lost six of their last seven games in the league.

And Manchester City saw their title hopes dented after Pep Guardiola’s side suffered an untimely 2-1 defeat away at Newcastle.

With City and Liverpool trailing by seven and 11 points respectively, it is, in fact, Chelsea who are currently Arsenal’s closest challengers in second place.

Enzo Maresca’s made it three wins and three clean sheets on the bounce with a 2-0 away win at Burnley on Saturday, and have the chance to really throw their hat into the mix as contenders when they host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge next weekend.

And Terry believes that his former side look like the only team capable of challenging the Gunners for the title at present.

‘A big game at the weekend now as Arsenal come to the Bridge where it’s going to be a very big game,’ Terry said in a video on TikTok.

‘I’m not saying it’s going to be a title decider but I think it’s going to be one of the two teams [who win the league].

‘For me, Liverpool are 100 per cent out of the title race. Liverpool look they’re really struggling at the moment.’

Modric: Retiring at RM is my biggest wish, but some dreams just never come true. Luka Modrić sat down for an exclusive interview with former national team coach Slaven Bilić, discussing his departure from Real Madrid and his feelings about joining AC Milan.

You don't often appear in the media

That's right. I've never really liked doing large-scale interviews, except for some routine ones before and after competitions. I may have only done one or two large-scale interviews for foreign media, because it's difficult for me to trust people, unless it's a media where a journalist I know works, and he also wrote a book about me. Now that you're here, I feel much more relaxed.

Are you learning Italian?

I had a great time there. Milan is really a wonderful place. Everyone, including teammates, coaches, and fans, has been very accepting of me. Everything has been excellent.

AC Milan is a large club with a long history and one of the world's top clubs, which is obvious. I like it here very much, and I speak Italian quite well. It has some similarities with Spanish, but they are not exactly the same. I often mix up Italian and Spanish, but they can still understand what I mean.

You played for Real Madrid for 13 years, and I remember the farewell was very sad, which must have left a sense of emptiness. How did you feel at that time?

It wasn't easy. I spent half my life there, and it was one of the best times in my life. I arrived relatively late, at 27, but I was already ready to embrace the challenges.

My four-year experience in England helped me a great deal. Everything that followed felt like a dream to me, and the achievements I've made are truly incredible. If someone were to ask me, "Write down your most satisfying accomplishment at Real Madrid," I'm afraid I wouldn't dare to write down everything I achieved later.

Trophies and victories are important, but to have served at a club like this for 13 years... from 27 to nearly 40, it's simply incredible.
