I need advice because my mind is not settled at all.
Two years ago I helped my friend start a small business. She had the idea but no money, so I supported her with 400k and also helped her run the page, reply customers and even deliver sometimes. We agreed that when the business grows we will share profit because I was the one that brought the starting capital.
At first things were slow but now the business is doing very well. Orders are coming in every day. The problem now is that my friend suddenly started acting like the business belongs to only her. When I asked about the profits she told me that the money I gave her was a “help” and not an investment.
I was shocked because that was not what we discussed. I reminded her about our agreement but she said since there was no written contract there is nothing I can do.
Now the business is big and she is even planning to open a physical shop.
I feel betrayed because I believed in her when nobody else did. At the same time I do not want this to destroy our friendship.
Please be honest with me.
Should I let the money go and move on or should I fight for what I invested?

The video of the dilapidated secondary school in Ahoada West was not an attack it was a mirror.
But instead of looking in it the LGA chairman decided to lecture his aide on obedience like truth needs clearance from him first. Nigerians are tired of leaders who get offended by criticism while students sit in classrooms that look like ruins.
The story is not about one video it is about a mindset where fixing problems comes second to controlling people.
When a leader spends more energy justifying himself than fixing what is broken that is the real scandal.
Threats pushbacks and she should have asked permission talk do not erase the images of crumbling walls and leaking roofs. Leadership in 2026 is not about power it is about accountability.
And Ahoada just reminded us that some leaders still do not get it.
