Title: The Girl Every Man Feared… Until a Crown Prince Appeared🫅
Men in my town were afraid to marry this girl…
But she ended up marrying a rich crown prince.
In the busy town of Oke-Ado, there lived a girl named Tola Thunder. Nobody actually gave her that name at birth. Her real name was Tolani, but the whole town called her Tola Thunder because whenever she talked, it sounded like thunder was about to break someone’s head.
Tola was beautiful—very beautiful. Skin like fresh caramel, eyes that sparkled, and a smile that could stop traffic. But there was only one small problem…
Her mouth.
If you argued with Tola, you would go home questioning your entire existence.
One day, a man named Kunle tried to toast her.
“Good afternoon, Tola. I’ve been admiring you from afar.
Tola looked at him from head to toe and replied,
“From afar? Good. Remain there. Because if you come closer, even mosquitoes will start respecting you as their landlord.”
Kunle disappeared from the street for two weeks.
Another man named Chinedu tried his luck.
“Tola, you’re the kind of woman I want to marry.”
Tola folded her arms and said,
“You want to marry me? First go and marry responsibility. Because the way you’re standing, even your shadow looks unemployed.”
Chinedu quietly walked away and started attending night prayers.
Soon, the whole town agreed on one thing:
“Tola is not a wife… she is a national challenge.”
Her mother became worried.
One evening she said,
“Tola, all your mates are getting married. Why are you chasing men away?”
Tola replied calmly,
“Mama, if a man cannot survive small truth, how will he survive marriage?”
Her mother held her head.
Suitors kept coming… and running away faster than NEPA light.
One mechanic came.
He left.
A banker came.
He ran.
Even one pastor came and said,
“God told me to marry you.”
Tola replied,
“Then go back and ask God if He also told you I will agree.”
The pastor fasted for three days after that.
The town finally concluded that Tola would probably marry at the age of 87, and even then the groom might run away during the wedding reception.
But fate had its own plan.
One sunny afternoon, a convoy of shiny black cars entered the town. People rushed outside like it was a movie.
Inside one of the cars was Prince Adewale, the crown prince of a wealthy kingdom. He was rich, handsome, educated, and calm.
He had come to visit his uncle who lived in the town.
As fate would have it, Tola was walking past the compound when the prince saw her.
He stopped.
“Who is that woman?” he asked.
His uncle sighed deeply.
“That… is Tola Thunder. Beautiful but dangerous. Even soldiers avoid her.”
Prince Adewale smiled.
“I like dangerous.”
Later that evening, the prince met Tola at a small food spot.
He politely said,
“Good evening.”
Tola replied,
“Evening. If you want to toast me, prepare your heart first.”
The prince laughed.
“Don’t worry. My heart has insurance.”
Tola paused.
Nobody had ever replied her like that.
They began talking. For the first time in her life, someone wasn’t scared of her sharp words. Instead, he laughed at them.
Days passed.
Weeks passed.
The prince kept visiting.
One day Tola finally asked him,
“Why are you still here? Haven’t people warned you about me?”
Prince Adewale smiled and said,
“They warned me. But I realized something.”
“What?”
“You are not wicked. You just don’t pretend.”
For the first time in her life…
Tola was speechless.
Three months later, the entire town nearly fainted when a royal announcement was made.
Prince Adewale was marrying Tola Thunder.
On the wedding day, the same men who once ran away were standing in the crowd shaking their heads.
Kunle whispered,
“So someone actually married her.”
Chinedu replied,
“Not just someone… a crown prince.”
Another man sighed.
“Maybe the problem was not Tola… maybe we were just poor.”
After the wedding, Tola moved to the palace.
And surprisingly… the kingdom loved her.
Because whenever corrupt officials tried nonsense, Tola’s famous mouth handled them immediately.
One minister tried to argue with her once.
He resigned the next morning.
The king later told the prince,
“My son, you did not just marry a wife. You married national security.”
And that was how the girl every man feared…
Ended up becoming a rich crown princess.
And till today, whenever a man in the town is acting proud, people simply say:
“Be careful… Tola Thunder might still have sisters.”
