"We are in the wrong place" - Seun Kuti reportedly said as he walked out of Jarvis and Peller's wedding.

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti reportedly walked out of Jarvis and Peller's wedding ceremony after a comment by the MC.

The Master of Ceremony reportedly cracked a joke about Nigerian music star Wizkid is bigger than Afrobeats legend Fela Anikkulapo-Kuti. This did not sit well with Seun Kuti who is the son of the late Fela.

Seun, visibly displeased, was heard saying "we are in the wrong place" before leaving the venue angrily.

Meanwhile, the MC who make the comment, who is known as Mcedopikin later clarified in a video that there was no comparison between Baba Fela and Wizkid at the wedding ceremony, rather it was about Messi vs. Ronaldo fans and Davido vs. Wizkid's fans.

When the noise became too much, he tried to calm everybody down by saying "you all should stop behaving like the people who said they are bigger than baba Fela."

He also stated that Seun Anikkulapo-Kuti was too quick to anger, he should have waited to understand what is going on.
