Every doctor, engineer, leader and dreamer was once just a child with a big imagination and someone who believed in them.

Today we celebrate that child.

The one still inside all of us.

And the ones just getting started.

This question will make you uncomfortable.
And it should.

How many leaders do we celebrate who are simply performing for the crowd?

Showing up when the cameras are on.
Disappearing when the work needs doing.

Seyi Adisa has been in rooms with both kinds.
He knows the difference.

And in this conversation with Bold Magazine, he tells you exactly how to tell them apart.

Are you leading? Or are you performing?

Be honest with yourself before you answer.

Honorable Seyi Adisa shared this story with Bold Magazine and then asked one question that stopped us completely
"What will they write about you?"

Alfred Nobel was alive when he read his own obituary.

The newspaper called him the merchant of death.
A man who was incredibly wealthy.
But that day he saw exactly what the world thought of him.
And it broke something open inside him.

So he changed everything.
He redirected his wealth. He built a legacy.
And today we don't remember him as the merchant of death.
We celebrate him through the Nobel Peace Prize.

The question still remains, what will they say about you

Not what will they say when you have money.

What will they write about you when they think your story is over?

That question is worth sitting with today.

While Nigerian shelves were filling up with imported products

Joy Danladi was building something that reminded us what Africa already had.

Jasda Stores doesn't just sell coconut oil.

It sells a conviction that African resources are enough.
That we don't need to import what we already grow.

This is what the Africa Bold Magazine exists to celebrate.

He graduated in 2024.
By 2025 Africa already knew his name.

Kabir Abiso didn't wait for the perfect conditions.

He didn't wait for funding.
He didn't wait for permission.

He looked at Nigeria's food security problem and decided it was his problem to solve.

JIWE Integrated Concept Ltd was born.

Now Bold Magazine is telling his story.
Because this is exactly the Africa we were built to document.
