😳 ONE PHONE CALL Wiped His GTBank Account Clean.

At exactly 9:12 a.m. in Ibadan, Kunle was driving to work when his phone rang.

“Good morning sir, this is GTBank security unit,” the man said calmly.
“We noticed an attempt to withdraw ₦250,000 from your account in Onitsha. If you don’t stop it now, your account will be locked.”

Kunle’s heart raced. His salary had entered the night before.

The caller mentioned his full name and bank correctly. That was enough to scare him.

“You will receive a code now. Please read it so we can cancel the transaction,” the voice said.

An SMS came in: GTBank OTP – Do not share with anyone.

Kunle read it out.

Silence.

Then alerts started dropping:
₦80,000…
₦150,000…

Before he could shout, the call ended.

At the GTBank branch, the officer shook his head.
“Sir, the transaction was authorized with your OTP. That’s how they entered.”

His heart skipped.

NIN again? He had heard people complaining that their lines were blocked. No calls. No WhatsApp. No banking apps. The message looked serious. No spelling mistakes. It even mentioned MTN.
