AVOID WHAT CAN END YOU — EVEN IF IT LOOKS LIKE FUN
I saw a heartbreaking story online, and it shook me deeply. A group of four young guys went out to swim and relax… but only two returned alive. The saddest part? The one who died didn’t even know how to swim. He stayed cautious, stayed at the shallow area, begged his friend not to pull him into the deep side… but the friend insisted on “cruise.”
He was dragged into an 8ft pool, panicked, struggled, and in the process pulled another friend with him. Both drowned before help could come. No lifeguard. No rescue. Nothing.
People think water is a joke until tragedy happens. Stop dragging people into what they’re not comfortable with. Stop using fear as cruise.
As you plan your December outings, especially beach trips—respect water. Respect limits.
Life has no duplicate.
