LIVINUS NWOSU BREAKS SILENCE ON ₦4 MILLION DONATION ALLEGATION, SHARES HIS SIDE OF THE STORY
According to Livinus, Nigerians donated over ₦17 million for the woman’s medical treatment.
However, instead of using the money for her health, the family allegedly insisted on buying a new house, claiming that the one they were living in was no longer suitable.
Livinus said he refused and insisted that the money should be used strictly for the purpose it was donated — the woman’s treatment.
After public backlash, the plan to buy a house was abandoned. Livinus then noticed that the family began spending the money recklessly.
He alleged that the woman’s sister withdrew a large sum of money. When he questioned it, the family claimed the sister had refunded the money, but Livinus said there was no evidence of any refund in the bank statements.
Later, the family asked Livinus to stop posting the sick woman online, claiming their pastor said he should stop. They then allegedly offered him ₦1 million to step away completely. Livinus stated that this ₦1 million was the only money he ever collected from them.
After that, Livinus said he began seeing daily debit alerts of ₦1 million from the donation account, indicating that the funds were being rapidly depleted. When the money ran out, the family reportedly came back to him, asking him to start posting the woman again so they could receive more donations. Livinus refused, insisting that they must first provide a proper account of how the previous donations were spent.
Eventually, out of pity, he posted the woman on his backup account, and more donations came in.
However, he claimed that the very next day, the girl’s sister withdrew ₦350,000, allegedly to buy kayanmata.
Livinus maintained that he never collected ₦4 million, never gave any money to Nedu, and that the family squandered the donated funds while deliberately hiding the bank statements from him.
