If your husband offered to help you start a business today but attached one condition, would you accept it?
I've been a full-time housewife for years, taking care of my home and my children. Recently, my husband said he wants to open a shop for me so I can start earning my own income and stop depending on him for every little thing.
But there's a condition.
He said once the shop starts running, I should choose between taking responsibility for our children's school fees or contributing to the family's feeding expenses.
We have three children, and their school fees are ₦150,000 per child.
Honestly, I don't want to remain a housewife forever. I would love to have something doing, earn my own money, support myself, and also contribute to my family. At the same time, I know that running a business comes with responsibilities and risks.
Now I'm confused.
If you were in my shoes, would you choose to remain a housewife, or would you take the opportunity to start the business and help with either the school fees or feeding expenses?
What would you do, and why?

This girl can cook okro soup for Africa
Even when we already have different soups inside the fridge, she will still wake up one morning and say she wants to cook fresh okro again. Meanwhile, the other soups never finish o.
At first I thought maybe she was just craving it, but now it has become almost everyday thing
Small crayfish, finish.
Palm oil, reduce.
Meat, disappear.
Seasoning cube, flying anyhow
The painful part is that all these ingredients we are using to cook another fresh soup could have been saved for another day when there’s truly nothing to eat. Because tell me why we already have soup in the fridge but another pot of okro must still enter fire
Sometimes I just open the fridge and see different soups lined up like restaurant display 😭
Egusi dey one corner, stew dey another side, yet fresh okro must join the meeting.
And if you talk small, they will say “na only okro I feel like eating.”
Ahn ahn must it always be okro?
I’m not even angry because she cooks well o, but this constant cooking of the same soup is making me feel like our kitchen budget is in danger 😂
Please be honest, if someone staying with you keeps cooking fresh soup every time despite food already available, will you complain or just keep quiet to avoid problem? 😭
