Maybe This Week Was Trying to Tell You Something

You, the woman who has been trying to keep everything together…

Before you rush into another week, stop for a moment.

What did this week teach you?

Maybe it showed you that you cannot keep giving your energy to everything and everyone.

Maybe you finally noticed how tired you have become from always being available, always explaining yourself, always trying to fix things, and always carrying responsibilities that nobody asked you to carry.

Maybe this week didn't go the way you planned.

But perhaps it wasn't wasted.

Perhaps it was trying to show you something.

That you need boundaries.

That you need rest.

That some things need to be released.

That saying NO doesn't make you a bad woman.

That choosing yourself doesn't mean you don't care about others.

And that you don't have to prove your worth by constantly being useful to everyone.

Maybe the lesson wasn't about doing more.

Maybe it was about knowing what to stop doing.

So before you call this week unsuccessful because you didn't accomplish everything you wanted, ask yourself:

What did this week make me see that I couldn't see before?

Because sometimes, growth doesn't look like a big achievement.

Sometimes, growth is simply looking at your life and finally

This cannot continue. Something has to change and maybe that something is me.

What did this week teach you about the woman I am becoming? Share below let us learn from each other.

SIX hidden distractions a woman needs to recognize before it's ltoo late.

1⃣ Trying to fix things that are no longer hers to fix.

She keeps trying to change someone's attitude.
Someone's opinion.
Someone's behavior.
Someone's lack of appreciation.

Meanwhile, the part of her life she actually has control over is being neglected.

2⃣ Carrying conversations that ended years ago.

Someone said something to her five years ago, and she is still trying to prove them wrong.

She is building her life around an old wound.

3⃣ Being addicted to preparation.

She keeps learning, planning, researching, saving ideas, watching videos and making lists.
It looks like productivity.

But nothing is actually moving.

At some point, preparation becomes another hiding place.

4⃣ The fear of disappointing people.

This woman has a beautiful heart, but she has made other people's approval the price of her peace.

So every time growth requires a difficult decision.

5⃣ Constantly monitoring other people's progress.

And suddenly, instead of building her own path, she spends her energy measuring how far behind she thinks she is.

6⃣ Waiting until she feels confident.

This is one of the quietest distractions. Sometimes confidence is produced by movement. Make a MOVE and stop saying I will...

confidence doesn't come before movement.

Let me know that particular distraction from this six listed and, i will teach you how to fix it and become better.

Happy Friday, my sister.

May you enter this weekend lighter than you entered the week.

And may you finally understand that putting yourself back on your own priority list is not selfish. It is necessary.

If this spoke directly to you, don't just scroll past it.

Share it with another woman who has been carrying too much.

13/08/2026

Why you are doing so much, yet I still feel like I’m not moving forward?

You didn't say it out loud.

But you thought it.

Maybe last night.

Maybe while bathing this morning.

Maybe while preparing everyone else for their day and wondering when your own life will finally begin to feel different.

Your are burn out.

But not because you're inconsistent

You're tired because you have been carrying too much for too long.

You work.

You solve problems.

You are available when needed.

You keep working to improve yourself.

You pray about the things you cannot fix.

And every morning, you tell yourself:

Let me just get through today.

But deep down, you're asking:

When will something finally change for me?

My sister, I want you to hear this carefully.

Maybe you don't need to do more.

Maybe you need to stop doing one some things.

Because you can be extremely busy and still be standing in the same place.

You can spend your whole day responding to everybody else's needs and have nothing left for the woman you are becoming.

And perhaps that is what is hurting you.

Not that you aren't doing your best.

You are trying.

You are simply giving your energy to too many things that don't deserve the best parts of you.

So this morning, before you add another responsibility to your already full life, sit with yourself for a few minutes.

Ask

What am I doing that is actually moving my life forward?

And then ask the question that may hurt a little.

What am I continuing to do simply because I am afraid to disappoint people, afraid to let go, or afraid to admit that it isn't working anymore?

My sister...

You don't need a busier life.

You need a life that is moving you in the right direction.

And sometimes, moving forward begins with one brave decision.

This thing is costing me too much. I cannot keep carrying it.

Don't rush past that thought.

It may be the beginning of your next chapter.

Because sometimes the woman who says, I am not moving forward, isn't standing still.

She's running in too many directions at once.

And my sister, you don't need to run harder.

You may need to choose a direction.

MY SISTER, PUT THAT PROBLEM DOWN FOR THIS MORNING.

I know you.

You woke up this morning, but your mind didn't wake up with you.

Your body is here, but your thoughts are already somewhere else.

You're thinking about the money you need.

The conversation you had with your husband.

The child you're worried about.

The message you're waiting for.

The business that isn't moving the way you expected.

That decision you don't know how to make.

And you've been going over the same situation in your head, hoping that if you think about it long enough, somehow you'll find the answer.

But my sister, what if there is no answer you can find this morning?

What if the thing troubling you requires time?

What if it requires another person's cooperation?

What if you simply don't have the resources to fix it yet?

Then why are you allowing a problem you cannot solve today to take today's peace from you?

-I'm not telling you to ignore it.

-I'm not telling you to pretend everything is fine.

-I'm telling you to be honest with yourself, what can I actually do about this today?

If there is something you can do, do it.

Make the call.

Send the message.

Make the plan.

Have the conversation.

But if there is genuinely nothing you can do today, my sister, stop punishing yourself for not having tomorrow's answer this morning.

You have already tried about it.

You've already prayed about it.

You've already imagined every possible outcome.

Now breathe.

Get up.

Take your bath.

Eat something.

Attend to your children.

Go to work.

Do the things that belong to today.

And when that problem comes to the place where it can actually be dealt with, you will deal with it then.

Until then, don't let tomorrow's uncertainty steal today's life from you.

Sometimes faith is not knowing how everything will work out.

Sometimes faith is saying,

God, I have done what I can. What I cannot do today, I will leave with You.

My sister, you don't have to solve your whole life this morning.

Just take care of today.

Tomorrow will meet you when it comes. ❤️ have a blessed day.

Please, share with a friend.

Never ignore the pain of broken trust. A heart can survive many storms, but it struggles where it no longer feels safe.

efore you judge Peter, Paul, or Jude, can we talk about you for a minute?

Maybe the P-Square story touched you for a reason.

Not because you're interested in celebrity drama

But because it reminded you what betrayal feels like.

Can I ask you something?

Have you ever been hurt by someone you never imagined you would have to protect yourself from?

Not a stranger.

Someone you loved.

Someone you trusted.

That's the painful thing about betrayal.

It doesn't come from enemies.

It comes from people you gave access to your heart.

Maybe you're that woman today.

You're smiling on the outside, but deep down you're asking,

How did we get here?

When did trust become so difficult?

Watching the P-Square story reminded me that relationships don't usually fall apart in one day.

They begin to break the moment trust is no longer protected.

Whether it's in a marriage, a friendship, a family, or a business, love struggles to survive where trust keeps bleeding.

So today, don't just ask,

Who betrayed me?

Ask yourself,

Who makes me feel emotionally safe?

Because the strongest relationships aren't built by love alone.

They're built by people who protect each other's trust every single day.

Some of the hardest tears are not for the people we lost, but for the version of them we believed would never hurt us.

Dear sis, have you ever mourned something that never had a funeral?

Some grief has no funeral.

No one brings food to your house.

No one wears black.

No one says, I'm sorry for your loss😭😭😭

Because the things you lost didn't die...

They just quietly disappeared.

Maybe you're grieving the promotion you worked so hard for but never got.

👉The business you believed would finally change your life.

👉The job interview that ended with, We'll get back to you.

The scholarship that went to someone else.

👉The dream you postponed because responsibilities came first.

👉The confidence you used to have before life humbled you.

👉The version of yourself that laughed more.

👉The energy you had before burnout became your normal.

👉The friendship that slowly faded without a fight.

👉The opportunities you watched pass by because fear, timing, or finances stood in the way.

👉The years you spent pouring into everyone else while quietly abandoning yourself.

👉The home you hoped to own by now.

👉The career you imagined at this stage of your life.

👉The business that closed.

👉The pregnancy you prayed for.

👉The child you thought would make different choices.

👉The peace you once carried before disappointment became a frequent visitor.

People see you functioning.

They don't see you mourning.

So they call you strong.

But strength sometimes looks like carrying grief that nobody realizes you're carrying.

Dear Sis...

Not every grief comes with a funeral.

Some grief comes with another

✔️ Friday morning.

✔️Another unanswered email.

✔️Another Maybe next time.

✔️Another birthday that reminds you life isn't where you hoped it would be and so many others I can't mention.

If you've been feeling unusually tired, emotional, unmotivated, or unlike yourself,

Maybe you're not just exhausted.

Maybe you've been grieving losses you never gave yourself permission to acknowledge.

And healing often begins the moment you stop saying, I'm just tired, and start saying, I lost something that mattered to me.

Because not every loss is visible.

But every loss deserves to be acknowledged.

You don't have to lose a person to experience grief.

Sometimes you lose a dream, a season, a version of yourself and that deserves compassion too.

Before you ask, Why did the opportunities stopped coming? ask yourself, What did I do with the last opportunity they gave me?

My sister, I know that question may hurt.

Maybe you look around and see other women being recommended, mentored, promoted, and supported, and you quietly wonder, When will somebody see me too?

But let me ask you something uncomfortable.

What did you do with the last opportunity you received?

✔️Did you take it seriously?
✔️Did you prepare yourself?
✔️Did you follow through?
✔️Did you grow from the advice you were given?

Because sometimes, people didn't stop seeing your potential.

They stopped seeing you develop what was given to you.

And yes, that hurts.

But don't let it shame you. Let it wake you up.

Start with what is already in your hands. Learn. Grow. Keep your word. Become teachable. Finish what you start.

Because the woman worth investing in isn't perfect.

She's a lady, a woman who knows how to grow with what she's given.

So before you ask, Who will invest in me?

Ask yourself:

If someone investe in me today, what would they see tomorrow?

Your answer may be the beginning of your transformation.

Don’t read and pass this without answering yourself honestly.

What is one opportunity, relationship, skill, connection, or investment you were given that you didn't steward as well as you should have?

No excuses. No blaming. Just honesty.

Then tell me one thing you are going to do differently from today.

Nobody prepared her for the life after "I do."

A little girl grows up hearing, one day you'll make a good wife.

So,
✔️she learns how to care for everyone else.

✔️She learns how to keep a home.

✔️She learns how to sacrifice.

✔️She dreams about the wedding dress, the decorations, the photos, and the day everyone will celebrate her.

But almost nobody sits her down and says,

Let me help you discover who you are before life starts demanding pieces of you.

✔️Then marriage comes.

✔️Children come.

✔️Responsibilities come.

✔️Expectations come.

And somewhere between being someone's wife, someone's mother, someone's daughter-in-law, and someone's helper...

she looks in the mirror and quietly asks,

When did I stop being me?

This is the conversation we keep avoiding.

We spend years preparing women for a wedding that lasts one day.

But we spend very little time preparing them for the woman they must become over the next 40 or 50 years.

We teach our girls how to find a husband.

Who is teaching them how to DISCOVER themselves?

Because a woman who doesn't know who she is will spend years borrowing an identity from everyone around her.

She will confuse acceptance with PURPOSE.

She will mistake survival for FULFILLMENT.

She will wake up one day with everything she prayed for... yet still feel like something inside her is missing.

Marriage is beautiful.

But marriage was never meant to replace identity.

Before a woman asks, Who will love me?she should also ask, Who am I becoming?

Because the greatest tragedy is not remaining single.

The greatest tragedy is living an entire life without ever meeting the woman God created you to be.

Let me ask you an honest question.

If nobody knew you as someone's wife, someone's mother, someone's daughter, or someone's girlfriend.

Who are you?

I'd love to hear your answer in the comments.

Share this to every young girl who deserves to be prepared for purpose just as much as she's preparing for marriage.

Let's uncover the 6 hidden reasons so many women no longer trust the wisdom within them.

1⃣ You replay conversations long after everyone else has forgotten them.

You wonder if you said too much. Too little. The wrong thing. So next time, you choose silence instead.

2⃣ Every time you ignored your intuition and regretted it, you blamed yourself instead of learning from it.

Instead of saying, Next time I'll listen to myself, you quietly concluded, Maybe I just can't trust my judgment.

3⃣ You've been called "too emotional" so many times that you've started treating your feelings like they're unreliable.

Now, instead of asking, What is this feeling trying to tell me? you ask, Am I just overreacting?

4⃣ She has become addicted to reassurance.

Before making even a small decision, she checks with someone else. Not because she lacks intelligence, but because somewhere along the way she stopped believing her own judgment was enough

5⃣ She keeps editing herself before she even speaks.

Before sharing an opinion, she rehearses it in her mind.
✔️Will this sound foolish?
✔️Will they misunderstand me?
✔️Will they think I'm proud?

By the time she's finished editing, she says nothing at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣

6⃣ She has confused being needed with being valued.

People call her when they need help, advice, or support. But when she needs reassurance, she often finds herself alone. Slowly, she begins to believe her worth is in what she does, not in who she is.

That belief makes her question every personal decision.🙆‍♂️

Lastly, She has forgotten that her inner voice became quiet for a reason, not because it disappeared, but because it stopped believing anyone was listening.

Maybe today is the day you stop asking, Can I trust myself? and start asking, What has my heart been trying to tell me all along?

Which of these reason speaks to you? Let me know.
