So, I was taking a walk yesterday evening when I passed a group of men having a discussion.
At first, I wasn't paying attention until I heard one of them say, "I took a lady to (name withheld) and spent almost β¦38,000. After all that, she was still asking me how much I'd give her for the night." π³
I couldn't help but glance over, and I know, he's someone's husband.
It got me thinking...
Sometimes, people are willing to spend generously trying to impress strangers but struggle to show the same appreciation to the people who love and stand by them every day.
Men, the lady you're trying so hard to impress today won't always retain the new excitement. The woman you call your wife was once that beautiful young lady too. Appreciate her, love her, and don't wait until it's too late to make her feel valued.
And ladies, not everything that glitters is gold. Be wise and know your worth. Not every flashy outing or expensive date comes with good intentions.
Now let's talk...
Who do you think deserves your best. your spouse or someone you're trying to impress? And why?
