So I went over my guy bestfriend house just to chill and catch up. It’s been about 2 months since we linked up. While we were chillen he mentioned that he was hungry so I went in the kitchen and cooked him some shrimp Alfredo. His wife came home while I was cooking and all hell broke loose. The lady said me cooking for her man is inappropriate but he’s my bestfriend! Long story short I reached out to my bestfriend today and his wife answered and she said if I ever call her husband or see him she’s going to put hands on me AGAIN 😭🤦🏽‍♀️ The fact this lady put her hands on me for simply looking out for my bestfriend is really crazy and I’m pressing charges.

Kaduna State Police Command has halted a proposed rally organised by supporters of the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, citing security threats and the risk of public disorder.

The rally, planned to mark Obi's birthday, was called off following intelligence reports indicating that "certain criminal elements are planning to infiltrate and hijack the proposed rally, using it as a platform to cause disruption, incite violence, and disturb the prevailing public peace in the state."

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, the police reiterated that "all forms of political rallies and public gatherings of a political nature in Kaduna State remain suspended across the state until the official commencement date of political activities as stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)."

The Command further noted that the proposed rally coincided with the date fixed by INEC for political parties to conduct their primary elections in the state. According to the statement, “while the primary elections by political parties are scheduled by INEC to hold on the same date the Obi supporters planned for their rally, the Kaduna Police Command notes that the rally will overlap and disrupt several areas designated for the conduct of other parties’ primaries, thereby posing a significant risk of tension, clashes and breakdown of law and order in the state.”

The Command urged organisers to suspend the planned rally “to ensure public safety and prevent potential hijacking by miscreants.”

While acknowledging the right of citizens to associate and celebrate political figures, the police stressed that the suspension on political gatherings remains in force.
“The Kaduna State Police Command remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of all residents and will not hesitate to take necessary legal action against any individual or group found violating this directive,” the statement said.

Boy, 6, roaming hospital's maternity ward 'k!lls newborn baby girl'

A 6-year-old boy "left to roam around a maternity unit" allegedly k!lled a newborn baby.

A criminal enquiry has been launched in France following the tragic incident.

A baby identified as Zayneb-Cassandra, who was born premature to a 23-year-old woman earlier this month, suffered a traumatic brain injury last Friday, July 11, after the boy "treated her like a doll" and dropped her on the floor of the Jeanne-de-Flandre Children’s Hospital in Lille.

The boy had already been reported as a "disruptive presence" in the hospital before he was found alone with the unconscious baby in a neonatal unit.

The baby was her mother’s first child, and she was delivered by cesarean section.

"The delivery went very well, but the little girl was premature, so she was taken to a neotatal unit, while her mother remained in a maternity ward," they added.

The "disruptive six-year-old", said to be the son of another mother who was in a maternity ward, was spotted wandering around the hospital unattended.

Zayneb-Cassandra’s grandmother told the Voix du Nord newspaper: "The boy would arrive at 7am and spend all day running up and down the hallways.

"All the mothers were complaining, and a nurse even warned the child’s mother that there was a problem. He was entering the other rooms.

"He also entered Zayneb’s room for the first time. He said she looked like a doll, and my husband, who was there, took him out."

Last Friday, Zayneb’s mother was signing discharge papers, when "all of a sudden, the family received a call from a ward manager, saying they needed to come right away – a little boy had been playing with the baby, who had fallen."

According to the family, who cite another mother in another room, "a loud bang" was heard when the baby’s head connected with the ground.

Zayneb was found unresponsive on the floor, next to the six-year-old, who was on a chair.

"It seems he tried to grab her by her nappy, and she fell on her head," said Zayneb’s grandmother.

The baby was rushed to intensive care, but she was declared de@d Tuesday, July 15
