I just have the feeling to share this
I was coming back from the market this evening; there was a compound I was passing through so I saw people I knew and stopped to greet them , there was a mango tree close to us , then I noticed a branch close to me was shrinking with the mango fruit in it , the sight was strange so I quickly turned and told the person beside me to see that a branch is shrinking with the leaf and fruit; when she looked she noticed that the branch was broken that was the reason for the shrinking. When I looked and saw the broken branch , immediately, The HolySpirit put a scripture in my spirit JHN 15:5
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing “
Making reference with the branch that was cut out of the mango tree and immediately shrank with its fruit
THE VINE : Represents Jesus as the giver of life , the giver of strength, the source and the restorer
THE BRANCH (the believer): The believers who draw life from Jesus
ABIDING IN HIM : This means staying in Jesus, trusting in him , and doing His will
BEARING MUCH FRUIT: When we are connected to the source we are fruitful e.g the branch that was disconnected from its source lost its life
APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING: A fruitless life is assured without Jesus
The believers must have a constant connection with Jesus to have a productive life
Psalm55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken
AWAKE BRETHREN OF GOD
