WHO IS JOURNEYING WITH YOU?

Every day we wake up and go about our daily activities is another step in this journey called LIFE.
And one of the most important and fulfilling aspects of every journey is the company in which it is made.

Who are you journeying with?

There is a common saying that says if you walk with the wise, you will become wise (This is Scripture actually). And if you walk with the foolish, destruction is almost inevitable.

Your association is one of the surest predictions of your future.

Another saying used to go thus; "Show me your friend, and I will tell you who you are..."

But in recent times, it has been (more acurately) updated to; "show me your friend, and I will tell you WHO YOU'RE BECOMING, or WHERE YOU ARE GOING"

Who you journey with will most times, determines your destination.

Here's a spiritual reality we must be mindful of;

When God wants to lift you to a higher level, He either brings a positive influence (a person) into your life or He removes a negative influence (a person) from your life... or He does both.

Also,

When the devil wants to bring you down in life, he either brings a negative influence (a person) into your life or he instigates you to distance yourself from the helper God has brought into your life... or he does both.

Be careful who you let in... or who you push out.

Every relationship is either adding to your life or subtracting from it. - Some even multiply you in great ways... or 'divide' you down to crumbs.

Be wise and strategic with your associations.

- Prov.15:2

These have been some of my favourite scriptures for a long time, especially as it concerns talking to/about people.

You learn alot about people just by observing the way they talk. You can tell who is wise/foolish, mature/childish, or even civilised/uncultured, just by listening and hearing them talk.

The tongue is a good revealer of the state of the heart and mind.

Pay attention.
