NASARAWA WEST SENATE 2027 – CONFUSION IN THE GOVERNOR’S CAMP??????
We hear that His Excellency, Gov. AA Sule is now supporting Dr. Faisal to run for the Nasarawa West Senatorial Seat.
If true, we understand the logic. Dr. Faisal withdrew from the Gubernatorial race to support the Governor’s consensus successor, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada. So naturally, one would think _this is the only way the Governor will pay him back_. Loyalty for loyalty.
*But here is the confusion: Why is the same Governor also backing Prof. Kana to run for the same Senate seat?
You cannot carry two pots on one head. You cannot endorse two aspirants for one seat and still preach unity. This double endorsement will divide APC in Nasarawa West.
Our position is clear:
1. Zoning, equity, and fairness must guide who gets the Nasarawa West ticket.
2. No more use-and-dump – Our people will not accept political compensation that causes chaos.
3. One candidate, one voice – The Governor should lead by example and pick one direction.
*Nasarawa State nawawo. We are watching. We will not be silent while our zone is turned into a political experiment.
