My name is Joy Okodute, and I am truly honored to welcome each and every one of you to this space.

I am a passionate advocate for children with special needs, a calling that has not only shaped my life but continues to ignite a deep sense of purpose in everything I do. Today, I want to begin sharing a very personal part of my journey with you not for sympathy, and certainly not to cast blame or judgment but to bring light, awareness, and hope.

Why am I sharing my story?

Because stories have power. They educate, heal, connect us and sometimes, they awaken something within us that we didn’t even realize was there.

My goal is simple: to educate, empower, and inspire.
I want to speak to those who have walked a similar path, those currently in the midst of their own struggles, and even those who may not fully understand the world of children with special needs but are open and willing to learn.

This is not a space for judgment. It is a space for truth, transformation, and compassion.
By opening up about my journey the challenges, the lessons, the victories, and even the pain I hope to open hearts and minds to the reality so many families live with silently.
