In 1943, a Calabar woman was sentenced to prison for 10 years for allegedly stabbing her husband.

The actual truth is that she was innocent but for whatever reason she was wrongly accused.

The options were to either sentence her to death by hanging or sentence her to ten years imprisonment without food until she dies, and if she doesn't die she may be released.

In the end she was sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Only her daughter was allowed to visit, and she was not allowed to visit with food.

But interestingly, this woman survived in prison for these ten years. How?

Everyday, whenever her daughter was feeling as to defecate, she would go and visit her mother in prison. While there, she would defecate and her mother would eat it.

Her mother survived ten years in jail with the little nutrients from her daughter's s**t.

She was later released after serving her jail term.

She died the following day, after eating normal food.
