“So this brother said a friend called him and said he needed a place to stay for a week. He said okay, since it’s just a week, come to my place.
That was how the guy came. One week passed, he didn’t go. Two weeks passed, still didn’t go. He didn’t even know how to ask him when he was leaving.
To cut the long story short, after one month, things started going b@d for him, the owner of the house. In the second month, it was the visitor that started feeding him. He said he couldn’t even fuel his car again. It got so b@d that he started selling some of the things in his house.
On the third month, the visitor now said, ‘Thank you so much for accommodating me, I’m ready to leave now. I’ve gotten a small apartment and furnished it.’
He asked him, ‘When did you do all these things and why you didn’t involve me?’ The guy said he wanted to make it a surprise.
He said okay, there’s no way I will let you just go like that, let me follow you to your house. So they went together.
When they got there, he saw a well-furnished three-bedroom apartment in a very good environment. He then asked if he could stay there for at least a week, since the guy had been the one feeding him all this while.
The guy said no, that a girl was coming from Abuja and she would stay for one week. After that, he would let him know.
He went back home, and things kept getting w0rs£. By the seventh month, his mum called him and asked what was going on. She said this is not how his life used to be.
That was how his mum took him to one baba. Baba asked him if he had accommodated anybody recently. He said yes, about seven months ago.
Baba told him that the friend he accommodated came to use soap in his house and had taken all his glory. The only solution was for him to go to the friend’s house and use the same soap he will give to him.
He started calling the friend that he wanted to come and stay for a week, but the guy kept giving excuses, saying he travelled and all that.
They went back to the b@bal@wo, and he said he would do something that would make the friend accept him, because his own baba had already warned him not to allow him into his house.
After that, he called the friend again, and this time the guy said, ‘Come, you can even stay two months. My place is your place.’ That was how he went there, stayed for a week, and did everything baba told him to do.
After one week, when he got back home, he tried to reach out to his friend, but the guy had bl0cked him everywhere.
Now, just one month later, people started calling him, saying they had been trying to contact him for months, that his number had been off. Contracts started coming in from different places.
See, I always say this, be careful of the kind of people you accommodate in your space, especially guys. Not everybody deserves to sleep in your house...”
