💐 59 YEARS OF GRACE, LOVE & KINGDOM IMPACT 💐

Today, I join millions of Redeemites and well-wishers around the world to celebrate my Father and Mother in the Lord, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, on their 59th Wedding Anniversary. ❤️

What a testimony of God’s faithfulness!

For 59 years, you have demonstrated that marriage is not only about companionship, but also about serving God together, standing together, sacrificing together, and fulfilling divine purpose together.

Your lives and ministry have blessed generations and continue to inspire us to pursue Christ, holiness, love and Kingdom service.

As a Redeemite, and a Gospel Music DJ, I am grateful to God for the gift of your lives and for the legacy you continue to build.

Daddy G.O. and Mummy G.O., congratulations on 59 years of marital bliss! 🎉💍

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, preserve you in sound health, renew your joy and increase His grace upon your lives. May the remaining years of your journey together be even more glorious, fruitful and impactful.

Happy 59th Wedding Anniversary, Daddy and Mummy! ❤️

We celebrate you.
We honour you.
We thank God for you.
And we pray for many more beautiful years together in Jesus’ name. 🙏🏽

59 years and counting! To God alone be all the glory! 🙌🏽

But the DJ?
“DJ, come and play!” 😂

Let me say this respectfully to clients, event planners and fellow vendors:

Please, don’t forget the people working behind the scenes.

The DJ may not be sitting at the guest table, but the DJ has been working.

From setup…
Sound check…
Waiting for the programme…
Standing for hours…
Reading the crowd…
Selecting music…
Managing requests…
Keeping the energy alive…

And sometimes, after all that, the DJ is expected to perform for another 5–6 hours on an empty stomach.

My question is:

How do you expect the DJ to deliver maximum energy when the DJ has no energy left?

😂

This is not about demanding special treatment.

It is about basic consideration.

If you are planning an event, please include your vendors in your welfare plan.

Feed the DJ.
Feed the MC.
Feed the photographers.
Feed the videographers.
Feed the sound crew.
Feed the decorators and other vendors who have been working for hours.

And please, don’t wait until everyone has finished eating before remembering the vendors.

A well-fed vendor is a happier vendor. A comfortable vendor can perform better.

The success of an event is not only about the guests enjoying themselves.

It is also about taking care of the people working tirelessly to make that enjoyment possible.

So, dear clients and event planners:

Feed your vendors. Respect their time. Give them a comfortable working environment.

Because when the DJ is well taken care of…

THE MUSIC WILL SPEAK FOR ITSELF. 🎧🔥

As you journey through life, you will discover that you have helped build many people. You gave your time, opened doors, offered opportunities, stood by them, encouraged them, and sometimes sacrificed quietly just to see them succeed.

Some will return and say, “Thank you.”
Others will move on and act as though you never played a part in their journey.

Don’t let that change you.

Do not stop being good because someone failed to appreciate your goodness.

You didn’t help them so you could be worshipped for it. You helped because you had the capacity to make a difference.

People may forget the hand that lifted them, but God never forgets the heart that helped them.

So keep building.
Keep giving.
Keep opening doors.
Keep lifting people.
Keep being a blessing.

Because sometimes, the greatest reward for doing good is not hearing “thank you”—it is knowing that your life made a difference.

No matter what happens, never regret being good.
It is still a good thing to be good. ❤️

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9
