I can speak in tongue so I'm more spiritual than you ๐คช. Have you ever felt like a brother or sister is making you feel less of a Christian because of their gifts?
We humans tend to misuse anything that we do not truly understand it's purpose. Spiritual gifts are given by the Lord to His people so that we can use it to communicate the love of God to the church and especially to those who do not know God. The key here is ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ. It is not for pride, to show how spiritual you are...this is why apostle paul wrote "even if I can speak with tongues of angels but have no love, I am nothing"
Your gift is nothing unless you learn the purpose of it and use it according to the purpose it was given.
If you do not possess any spiritual gifts yet, it should not make you think of yourself as less of a Christian, you are encouraged to ask the Lord for the gift but with the right motives. Do not ask for gifts because you want to compete or show off but because you want to communicate the love of God to a dying world with the gift and to strengthen the body of Christ with it.
When we all use our gifts for the right reasons, the results will be that the body of Christ is more united and we will be more effective army for the lord.

๐Gifts: Healings, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, prophecy, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, all these must be practiced with the intent of showing the love of God without pride.
