ANYA ADUGA
Loud voices crying over the confluence,
A cry for help from devastated souls,
A cry for justice and peace,
A cry for unity from the East and West of the Niger,
And the central point where the Niger embraces the Benue river.

Like the voices of the celestial choir it can be heard from far and near,
The voice of freedom sending echoes through the silent winds breezing over the waters of the confluence,
The one voice that the gods listen to without hesitation.

Yes the people want a positive change,
One different from from what was promised in the past,
This time they have made their choice refusing the part presented by the greedy elites whose interest is solely in themselves.
Yes the people want a change and this once have spoken in one voice!
Some might want the Bello card but in their sense we see ment, demented souls suffering from the highest form of maladies, werey or madness, tag it what you like!

Yes the people have spoken and through them we have heard the subtle divine words of the heavens. We are the great people of the Ohimini and our path is drawn by the heavens, no one man will lord us or change our flow as those who be before now tried are forgotten, we flow in our fate!

Yes the people have spoken and as Kings, Warriors, Blacksmiths, Merchant and Hunters whom none ever conquered, that one voice that the queen of England coveted when she wanted an end to slave trafficking through the Niger! the one voice that stood against the Great Benin Kindom, the one voice that won the Jukun War, that one voice that ended the reign of queen Amina of zazzau! That one voice that Dr Steven Makoji Achema spoke and Prince Adoja of blessed memory became, again we yield to the call, the voice of the people; the voice of God!

The government whom we have given our sovereignty; the INEC that the Government have entrusted with the role of conducting the polls and the security agencies that are to maintain peace and orderliness; we are not your enemies. We are a people whose fate at some point was tied to that of a post turtle; and as it cannot save it self, we can only save ourselves. What is expected of you all is let the will of the people be heard!

AMEH OBONI THE GREAT (1906 - 26TH JUNE 1956)
Today marks the 67th anniversary of a Great King!

A POEM DEDICATED IN MEMORY OF HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, AGABAIDU, AMEH OBONI, ATTAH IGALA.

In gratitude of his sacrifice.

ALL ALONE!
ALL ALONE!!
ALL ALONE you fought the war for us!!!

Calls of glory,
Calls of valor,
Calls of victory, right in the valley of Death, deep in the mouth of Hell, was there a Man this made?

Enemies to the right,
Enemies to the left,
Enemies in front, can't deter your Greatness.

When shall your glory fade ?
When shall your honor fall ?
When shall your story end ? Not that anyone knows, for an immortal you have become.

Heal our land from pestilence,
Heal our land from Prejudice,
Heal our land from poverty, for we have lost our way.

Speak the words that lives,
Speak the cause and effect,
Speak of our abomination,
O' Great king, show us the light out of darkness, so we may gain redemption.

LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF WISDOM,
LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF AYEGBA OMA IDOKO,
FOR ALL THE SMEARS AND SLANDERS ON HIS ROYAL MAJESTY AGABAIDU, AMEH OBONI ATTAH IGALA, FROM WITHIN AND WITHOUT,
NO RESTITUTION HAS BEEN MADE FOR HIM WHO STANDS BRIGHTEST AMONGST US !

Enemies amongst us,
Enemies outside,
Enemies far away, can't deter your Greatness.

Calls of Glory,
Calls of Valor,
Calls of Greatness greet your name from the valley of Death, deep in the mouth of Hell, where you rouse into the splendor and brightness of the ancestoral court, where you reign onwards.

Hallowed be your name in the great beyond,
Glory be your name where men are gathered,
We cheers in feasts and merriment in your name today.

O' Majestic King, pardon our sacrilege, so your love may conquers our hatred as light conquers darkness.

Great King of the Niger river,
Legend of our race,
Eternal President of our Nation,
Star of our heroes,
Specter of the heavens.

We seek peace, harmony and prosperity for our land in your name. Achee.......
