If you think you are in control try having a toddler 😩😂
I left home rushing to meet my to do list but madam sighted her fav. playground and that was how my whole plan changed. She turned it into snack time and horse riding.
Motherhood will humble you and still melt your heart in the sweetest way 💖

so that's how i walked into the Igbo Day celebration in Lokoja thinking it was just another event on the calendar on 1st of December… but chai, I left with my heart full and my spirit completely recharged! 😭❤️

My first Igbo Day outside the East, and Lokoja proved that distance means nothing when culture calls you home.

The moment I stepped inside the stadium, behold lots of colorful canopies, the drums started talking, masquerades started misbehaving, and the whole place just smelled like village square on a big festival day. The energy? 🔥🔥🔥

Everywhere you turned—red caps, isi agu, george wrappers, coral beads, warm smiles, tight hugs, and variates of sweet Igbo dialects that can make you laugh even when you don’t fully understand the joke.

And then… FOOD entered the chat.
My people, I lost small home training 🤭.. Cause that was all I remembered to capture.
Each local government came with food known by their people. Mine prepared echicha, rice, and bitterleaf soup.
Well it won't be complete without our original PALMWINE all the way from the village 😉🤭

Everything was just THERE. Honestly I forgot I was supposed to vlog or snap.
Igbo amaka.
Culture is beautiful… but culture + food? UNBEATABLE.🔥

Grateful to every hand that cooked, every leg that danced, every voice that sang. Lokoja Igbo union, una too much! Ndị be anyị 💪🏾🫶🏾

Who else was at Igbo Day Lokoja? Tag yourself, let’s gist!
If you missed it… sorry o, better luck next time 😛

Today reminded me of how God saves us in ways we don't expect🥺.

I was on my way to step into the market to get some chemicals for my business. I almost entered a tricycle, but just as I tried to move in, a guy overshadowed me and squeezed himself inside. I just stepped back, was angry because I knew I would not meet up with school run if I don't hurry then I decided to wait and enter another one.

Halfway on my journey, I looked out and saw the same tricycle I almost boarded involved in a minor accident.
My heart sank for a moment.
Thank God no one sustained any injury🙏.

And right there, I reminded myself how God orders our steps in ways we don’t even understand despite our wants.

We actually survive a lot in one day without even realising it.
And for that, we should always be grateful to God.

What are you greatful for today?
