CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE (CKD)
This is long-term, progressive kidney damage lasting for more than 3 months.
Major causes:
1. High blood pressure (hypertension)
2. Diabetes
Long-term kidney infections
Prolonged use of harmful drugs (e.g. NSAIDs)
STAGES:

CKD has 5 stages, from mild damage (Stage 1) to kidney failure (Stage 5).
