As Jesus said, "No one knows the day or hour" of His coming (Matthew 24:36-39).
Like the days of Noah, people will be going about their daily lives and activities, eating, drinking, marrying, and more, unaware of the impending arrival of the Son of Man.
When Christ returns, He'll find people in various states:
โ Some will be faithful, while others will be faithless.
โ Some will be hopeful, while others will be hopeless.
โ Some will be humble, while others will be prideful.
โ Some will be full of merriment and enjoyment, while others will be busy in the evangelism field. Etc...
The Bible warns that only those who are fully ready will be taken away to heaven. What will your state be when Christ returns? Will you be seeking God or pursuing worldly desires? Living righteously or compromising? Praying or backbiting?
Be prepared, for His coming will be unexpected, like a thief in the night.
