Separate yourself from the crowd, be different in order to attain the fullness of Christ.
1peter 1:16 'For it is written, "be holy, because I am holy."
We have to separate ourselves from the crowd and cling to Jesus only, u want to be like Jesus and also follow what the world pattern requires.. that! cannot be.
U wear the same horrible dress like unbelievers, speak thesame vulgar language with them, dance thesame nonsense music with them, take forbidden foods and drinks with them e.t.c.
Yet we call ourselves children of God without emulating Christ lifestyle, to be different we have to live a life of holiness, I guess every christain knows wat it requires to be holy.. obeying God's words, speaking the truth in love, sharing the little we have with the needy, having God fearing friends, our minds must be set on things above, that is the crown of glory prepared by our Lord for all that follow him faithfully. (Colossians 1:3)
That desire in you to follow Jesus must generate a force to make u different.
Lamentations 3:27 'it is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.
