This is BIU PLATEAU, in Borno State This is not Jos Plateau, This is not Mambila Plateau in Taraba State.
The land of BIU derives its name from the Bura Language word - VIU meaning High or better Highlands. It is now called Biu as a result of language is dynamic, as well due to the the fact that a typical Bura-Pabir man pronounces letter 'V' as 'B' and vice versa and europeans pronounced the soft consonant - B more easily instead of the hard consonant -V.
