It's Good to Learn Many Things, But Be Known for One

In life, it's smart to explore and learn from different fields. The more you know, the more flexible and creative you become. But if you really want to stand out, become a professional in one area.

Let people know you as “the person who’s really good at that one thing.” Whether it's tech, teaching, fashion, business, or farming—go deep, master it, and become excellent at it.

Learning wide gives you understanding. Mastering one gives you recognition.

Be versatile, but be known for something.

“Solar Panel Ban: Is Nigeria Ready?”

The federal government says it wants to ban the importation of solar panels to encourage local production. Sounds patriotic, right?
But let’s be honest — is Nigeria ready for that ban?

In many parts of Northern Nigeria, solar panels are the only lifeline for electricity.
No grid, No generator, Just sunlight and a panel to turn it into power.

Yes, promoting local production is great. But where are the factories?
Are they producing enough? Are they affordable? Are they even accessible?

Until local production is strong, stable, and sufficient, this ban will only punish the region that are mainly depends on solar power especially the northern Nigeria.

USA despite being a developed nation still import solar panels from China and other countries to meet the demand of its citizens.

We support local industry. But we also support progress not a setback.
Don’t ban solar panels when Nigerians still depend on them for basic survival.
Build capacity first. Then talk about banning.
