Other students will also depart through subsequent flights for their destinations.

Competing with such Youths in few years in Labour market will be a challenge, the CV alone will give you fever.

GOV. ALIA APPOINTS ABER, SERUMUN DEBORAH AS NEW SSG

Governor Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of Barr. Aber Serumun Deborah as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The appointment follows the resignation of the former SSG, Prof. Joseph Alakali.

Alakali submitted his letter of resignation yesterday, stating that he needed time to address personal challenges.

In accepting the resignation, Gov. Alia expressed gratitude to Prof. Alakali for serving the state under his administration for a year and three months.

He wishes him well and prays that the Almighty grants the former SSG the strength to tackle the many challenges he has chosen to address.

Meanwhile, the new SSG, Barr. Aber, is a seasoned solicitor and arbitrator with a strong sense of initiative and excellent analytical skills. She is a team player with good interpersonal skills who always strives for excellence and aims to contribute positively to the success and growth of an organization. She aspires to work in a reputable and challenging environment that encourages professionalism.

Barr. Aber is a graduate of the University of Jos and Nasarawa State University.

Governor Alia believes that with her wealth of experience and trustworthy record of service, Barr. Aber will add significant value to his government.

He charges her to remain focused and align her work with the vision of the administration as outlined in the working document.

He urged her to always prioritize the interests of the state in her day-to-day official functions.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

Veteran educationist and third republic Senator , Prof David Iornem has marked 75th year birth anniversary in Gboko amidst warm felicitations, well-wishes and prayers from family members , friends and associates both at home and in the diaspora who variously described him as an astute administrator , mentor , teacher and selfless politician whose selfless service to humanity and contribution to national development over the years remain invaluable.

As part of activities marking his75th birthday ceremony, Prof David Iornem led his family members and associates to the Mbayion Commnity where the newly constructed expansive CommonWealth College of Technology is located in Gboko local government area, Benue State, aimed at advancing science and technology education , as well as adult literacy education.

Various Speakers including, the Traditional rulers led by Zaki Avande Nongo , the clergy , community leaders , women and the youth at the event variously extolled Prof David Iornem's exceptional leadership and mentorship qualities, and his passion for education development, acknowledged the lasting educational legacy sited in their community as a rare gift for the benefit and future of their children and the Community at large .

Prof David Iornem said , his passion and vision is to encourage massive access to education , where parents can enrol their wards on tuition free basis at first enrolment in the College , even as he expressed gratitude to God Whose love, guidance and mercies upon his life is remarkable.

Son to the Celebrant and notable United Kingdom based humanitarian, Prof Kohol Shadrach Iornem, describes his father David as a profound mentor who has shaped his life impactfully into becoming a reckoned academic , promising to compliment the educational efforts of his father by donating ICT based learning facilities to the Commnity institution .

Prof David Iornem is a management consultant , author of international standing , management trainer, and politician who became a young prominent public figure during the late Governor Aper Aku administration between 1979-1983. He was elected Senator for Benue North -East Zone during the 3rd Republic.
