Hon. Raymond Aondoakura Zege is the Executive Chairman of Buruku Local Government Council, Benue State. He assumed office in October 2024 following his inauguration alongside other elected Local Government Chairmen in the state.

As Chairman of Buruku Local Government Council, Hon. Raymond Aondoakura Zege has demonstrated commitment to grassroots administration, community development, infrastructure, security, agriculture, and the overall welfare of the people of Buruku Local Government Area.

His administration has placed attention on developmental initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of residents and opening up communities for greater economic and social activities. Among the documented initiatives associated with his administration is the Buruku Township Renewal Initiative, which included the development of township roads and drainage infrastructure.

Hon. Zege has also publicly engaged on issues concerning transportation, infrastructure and the development of the Buruku bridge project, recognizing its importance to the movement of people, agricultural produce and economic activities across communities.

In the area of security and public safety, the Chairman has publicly condemned acts of violence and emphasized the importance of lawful investigation, prosecution and peaceful coexistence among residents.

Through his leadership and engagement with communities, Hon. Raymond Aondoakura Zege continues to serve as a representative of grassroots governance in Buruku Local Government Area, working within the framework of the Benue State Government to promote development and improve public services.

His leadership reflects the responsibilities of a Local Government Chairman in bringing government closer to the people and responding to the developmental needs of communities at the grassroots.
