Two years ago, under a tree like this…
a man knelt down and asked a simple question:
“Will you marry me?” 💍
The girl started crying.
Not the “small small tears” type…
Real Nigerian tears wey carry meaning 😭
People around thought it was just love…
but deep down, she was calculating:
“No light…
Fuel price…
Rent…
Wahala…”
She looked at him again.
No car.
No big money.
No assurance of steady NEPA.
Just one thing…
A genuine smile and peace of mind.
So she asked him quietly:
“If things hard nko?”
The guy smiled and said:
“We go sit down complain together.” 😂
That was when she said YES ❤️
Today, they are still together.
Sometimes there’s light… sometimes there’s not.
Sometimes money flows… sometimes it hides.
But one thing never changed:
They laugh through everything.
Because in this country,
real love is not about perfection…
It’s about finding someone
you can struggle with and still smile ❤️
